Where are you located? The requirements are listed on school websites. So go to google and type in "nursing schools" and your location and you can go from there. The local community college near you probably has a program. They should have a list of classes needed and also what the entrance requirements are. Good luck!

There are several different tests that are used to get in. If you go to Barnes & Noble, they have a "Nursing School Entrance Exams" book that is generic but helpful for many of the tests. That might be a good place to start. Then once you find out what test you need to take, you can get a more specific study guide.

An immigration problem shouldn't stop you from starting the process of going to school to take your pre-reqs but it may get in the admissions process for a nursing program. I applied to 7 schools and every single one of them made it clear that you need to be a US citizen or legal resident alien to be in the program. I also had to show my social security card at some schools before they accepted my application. I'm not writing this to deter you but just to give you something to think about. I really hope you are able to work out your documentation issues. :)
As far as where to start. Find a school, or schools, whose nursing program you want to be admitted to. Find out what their requirements are and start taking the classes you need. The entrance exam I took was the TEAS and I took it after taking all my pre-req courses. So I was already prepared. There are a lot of ways you can prepare for the exam so that shouldn't be a worry. Just take it one step at a time and just start with finding schools, and enrolling in the necessary courses.
Thanks for your advice. Yes my document went well. Thank God. I will apply to a community college, I will go over to the school n talk to the nursing director of the school. I will keep ya update. And please send me some example of the TEAS exam questions if you have it. thanks
