I just had a few questions about the Excelsior program? How many things did you study at once? Do you recommend studying one thing and getting it over with? Approx how long did it take you to study for a test? I am a LPN right now but I will have to take all the gen ed requirements. What is the English like? I can't figure out what that test would be like. I am just trying to figure out how long it will take me to earn my associates. I am currently a stay at home mom with a wonderful mother-in-law who is willing to help me out by watching my children while I study. I should have plenty of time to study on a regular basis. Any advice at all about the Excelsior program would be appreciated! Thank you!

I went thru. Excelsior I took all my gen. ed. thru them but you can do them at your local cc. then transfer your credits.I did one course at a time but do as many as you can handle you will get done faster. make sure your state BON will accept them some states won't. I spent 2-3 months on mine because I didn't want to repeat it is alot of money.I did all the gen. ed. first then the nursing. good luck Leo2 :)
