Questions before enrollment?

I know that you are able to take 2 of the nursing courses before entering into the nursing program? Does this mean I can take them before becoming an LPN? I will have 3 months between finishing my prereqs ad starting my LPN program. Would I be able to take micro or one of those nursing courses, without paying the enrollment fee?

I would recommend waiting on any of the nursing courses until you're ready to start EC's program. If they should happen to change the curriculum while you're going through your LPN program, you would have done those exams for nothing.

I think you need to have an LPN already to even enter the program.

I was thinking that as well, but ... since it's not only LPNs who qualify for the program, I don't know if EC would necessarily disallow an unlicensed person to take those exams. I seem to recall a couple of people who took an exam just as they were finishing their LPN, perhaps before their boards .... but this would be something to verify with EC as well.
