Actually I did part of my senior rotation on a burn unit/oncology the rest of the time. I loved it. It was either burn or hem/onc I wanted to work at and hem/onc beat the other unit to the punch.

Burn nursing sounds very interesting, and something I will be looking into as the hospital I have accepted a position at has a Burn Unit as well.

I'm not sure if I'd want to deal with this day after day! Good luck to y'all.

I'm thinking preop or postop for myself.

I just graduated and will be working in the burn unit. I get the same reaction from most people when I tell them. Clearly this area is not for everyone. But what area is? If burn nursing interests you, go for it!
