Question?? Worried about Nursing Program and Grades!!

Next semester will be my last semester untill I recieve me AA. There I am going to transfer to a University and apply to the nursing program. My dream has been to get into the nursing program, I already have my CNA, but this semester has been deadly to me. I was on the verge of failing to many things going on. In all my classes I recieved a C and this is horrible because my GPA will drop! The classes I took are classes needed to get in the nursing program. Will this badly accept my chance into getting in??!?? Please, help me....anybody...thank u

You really need to talk to the advisor for the program you want to apply to. Only s/he can realistically tell you whether or not you have a chance of getting in. Some programs may accept a C average gpa, some won't. My first choice (current) school I knew I didn't have a chance if I got even a B in one of the pre-reqs. My second choice school only required that I get passing grades on the pre-reqs and then I would have been put on a waiting list.

It depends on your schools admission process. Some go by a points system, some go by GPA, some go by a lottery. You should talk to your school counselor
