Far as I know you cannot get into nursing completely by studying online. You have to do clinical rotations, no matter if you choose to become an LPN or RN. NO online program can do that for you far as I know.

you can try:

ok thanks ...i had heard that you could do the classes on line ....is this true ...or do you know of any...kim

What's an STNA?

A good portion of the online programs require that you have some sort of medical background (LPN, EMT, etc) No matter what, you will likely have to do a 'live' clinical. At the very least, a challenge skills test.

You can contact any nursing school in your area, usually a state college. They often have programs that combine on line study and in person clinical.

I wouldn't trust a school that said you could do it on line, neither would I go to a school that does not have a physical location that you can visit and have problems addressed in person if need be. I hope this helps,

just curious, how does that differ from a cna?

search on ancc (not the critical care association- but the american nursing college something or other). or the johnson & johnson site. find a list of nursing schools in your area (or not if you want on-line). many of them have direct links online.
