Question about Texas licensing

I have three options when I graduate. Stay where I am in Oklahoma, move back to my home in Frisco, Texas(my dad has two other homes too in DFW), or move with family to California. I'm wondering if I can or should obtain a license initially in Texas since I believe I would have to wait 4 years to be licensed in Texas by endorsement if I got an Oklahoma license. Maybe there are reasons to get a California license? I dunno.

I've been living in the DFW area of Texas since 2005. I commuted to a nursing program in OKC in 2009/2010, received an Oklahoma license, and then obtained a Texas license by endorsement six weeks after obtaining the Oklahoma license.

I do not know where you heard that you need to wait four years to get licensed in Texas after receiving an Oklahoma license, but that's totally inaccurate information.

I'm originally from California. The employment market for new grads is one of the toughest in the nation, with each job posting receiving an average of several hundred applications. While having a California license would be nice, Oklahoma City and Tulsa seem to have the most stable job markets out of all the places you've mentioned.
