Question about repeat NCLEX questions

On my nclex, i received two identical questions and answers. I knew the answers to both. My question: are these definitely just for "testing" purposes to see if they're good questions, or are these actual scored questions? Or could it be either? My thinking is that it probably isn't counted with the scored questions since that means I would've gotten 2 extra points! yeppee! :) Any thoughts?

I got a question that was the same question as about 10 before but with only 2 of the same answer choices. However, the second time I got the question I chose a different response than the first time. I think the first time I got it wrong so it gave me the same question with two new answers, one the correct one and it was more obvious that second time that it wasnt the first answer I had chosen.

that is absolutely wrong, if the test gives you similar or same questions it is a act of god do not change your answer! do not pass go! it is a coincidence! -- this is according to kapplan and hurst.

good job :)

Hi,

I had 75 questions, had 1 repeat question (it was a priority question). I didn't know if I should answer the question differently, or not, but my rational was the same and it didn't change in the next 20 minutes, so I put down the same answer. I just found out I passed today. So my advice is to stick with the same answer if you feel good about it. Hope this helps.
