Hi! Hope the experienced nurses can help me out. Please..
I am foreign educated, applied for NY license, still waiting for nysed's response, haven't taken NCLEX yet.
I'm looking into moving in FL because I can't stand the cold weather in north east, plus I have some relatives down here too!
questions:
1. should i take the nclex first for the NY, then endorse once I get the license?
2. since i gradated BSN outside the country, should i still have the CE or credential evaluation processed?
or
3. should i apply for FL license and just endorse the scores that i'll get from nclex?
i'm very confused. thank you for your response! :)

If you have already paid for CVS then I would continue with NY and then once passed NCLEX look at endorsing to Florida. You will more than likely still have to meet CES or other accepted evaluation because you trained outside the US
thanks Silverdragon!
If I pass the NCLEX and decide to move to FL, is it possible to endorse NCLEX results? I cannot endorse license from NY since it states in FL that you can only endorse license if you work 2 out of 3 preceding years.
If you pass NCLEX and issued a license then you have to declare that license. I doubt if you can just endorse NCLEX result to meet Florida requirements
I'm thinking of applying for NY and FL at the same time. I'm done with CVS for NY and I will be doing CES for FL. Correct me if I am wrong but once I get eligibility to take the exam for NY, I need to take it just once and I can apply for reciprocity of the NCLEX exam result to FL, am I right?
Thank you! I really appreciate feedback :)
