Question RE: ASU BIO 201

issue resolved - and no useful information in my posts, hence no need for it here

It would appear there is no prerequisite: https://sec.was.asu.edu/coursedb/search/results.jsp?campus=M&prefix=BIO&year=2007&term=1

However, if you look at their online course schedule https://sec.was.asu.edu/soc/ (plug in for Bio 210), you'll find "footnote flag" followed by a code number(s). Read those footnotes to see if you still qualify. It looks like most of them have a requirement for non-majors. I'd take that to mean non-Bio majors. Perhaps you have to have a major declared to qualify?

When I took it there were no ASU Bio 201 prereqs. I recall the local comm. colleges had a Bio 156 prereq for Bio 201.

That course is for nursing students, and is not included in the curriculum for Biology majors.

You will find that many times with different courses required for different majors, in every school in the country.

That class is held thru the Biology Dept, with their professors and teaching assts but will not count towards the core requirements for the BS in Biology degree.
