I don't know the answer to that question but think you should contact your state BON. They should be able to give you the information you need.

I am an L.P.N. who runs a Licensed Day Care Center in the state of Wisconsin. I am supervised by the Department of Health and Family Services. I provide care for some children that are physically and mentally handicapped which includes passing medication. Would this be classified as private nursing, and if not, how can I make it so? Next month will be the end of my five year period for working in a nursing facility, and with the extensive refresher program for inactive nurses, I would really like to keep my license active. Your comments will be greatly appreciated.
