  1. My husband made a comment that an LPN should not say she graduated from college. That is reserved for the person that attended a university or private four year college. I disagree since the name of my school was "technical college". On questionnaires they will also ask you to check which box qualifies you. High school graduate, some college, college graduate, or post graduate degree. I always check college graduate since I did graduate from a technical COLLEGE. What are your opinions?
  2. I am an L.P.N. who runs a Licensed Day Care Center in the state of Wisconsin. I am supervised by the Department of Health and Family Services. I provide care for some children that are physically and mentally handicapped which includes passing medication. Would this be classified as private nursing, and if not, how can I make it so? Next month will be the end of my five year period for working in a nursing facility, and with the extensive refresher program for inactive nurses, I would really like to keep my license active. Your comments will be greatly appreciated.
