Question about prereqs for CRNA school?

Hi everyone,

Here's my question:

I want to take some kind graduate prereq like Pharm or Patho. The problem is all the schools I look into want you to take a few classes before you get to that. Like a Theory and Research, or whatever their prereqs are. The problem with that is I don't know what schools I plan on applying to. I live in Kansas City right now but am from Philly, so I'll be applying to schools back there. I know most people who take the prereqs at that school plan on applying there in the future. I want to get something under my belt, because my undergrad gpa isn't that strong. Any advice?

Does anyone know of any online graduate programs that I could take online and possibly get into a pharm or patho class without having to take all those other classes that I don't want to take until I decide on a school? I'm getting frustrated!

Thanks again.

Brooke

I can't recommend any online courses, but whenever I've wanted to take a class that required some prereq that I didn't want to take I've been able to find some work around by making my case with a different person, or going straight to the professor. If you are at all in doubt about whether your background is strong enough for the class, I would definately go to the professor. Permission of the instructor will almost always get you into a class.
