good afternoon! i applied to twu, ut, and utmb for fall 2006. when i sent in my applications, i noted the pre-req classes i was taking this spring semester. but i had to drop one of the classes before it had started because of personal/family issues. my question is..how do i go about letting the schools that i applied to know? should i just wait and see if get accepted and then let them know that im taking the class over the summer? or should i call them or write them a letter now and tell them that i had to drop the class and will be taking it in the summer? im worried if i let them know now that it will affect whether i get in or not for the fall. have any of you sent in applications noting the classes you were taking prior to enrollment and ended up changing those classes? if anyone could help me out with this situation i would realllly appreciate it! thanks so much have a great day!

I think you should wait until you get a letter. If you get in let them know then. As long as you finish the class before the program starts and you meet their minimum grade requirement I don't see a problem. Calling them and explaining your situation and having them dig out your file and make notes, etc., just seems like a waste of time as long as you're sure you can take the course and complete it on time. :) Good luck.
