If you took it as one course it only counts as one course. At least, at the three schools I've attended in my educational career.
I did A&P 1 and 2 as one 6-credit course over a summer, and have one grade for the whole shebang. My transcript says something like "Anat & Physio I & II." It's still just one class on my transcript, and would have counted as one W if I'd withdrawn.
ETA: Hybrid courses are still just one course, just with limited in-person class time. If it's on your transcript as one class, it counts as one class.

I am in the process of applying to a couple school trying to get into an ADN program. I took an Anatomy/Physiology hybrid course and received a W. It was during the summer and I had trouble keeping up. I ended up taking Anatomy and Physiology separately and did well. However, in the application process, most of these schools allow only one W for the science prerequisites. Now, my question is, by dropping a hybrid course, would that count as dropping 2 classes for me? I am a bit stressed about this. Thank you.
