Question: NET test (reading section)

Hi, I've taken the NET test and I did good in all section of the test but I didn't do so well on the reading part.

I was just wondering, if anyone knows, what/how does the reading rate effect the reading comprehension portion of the test?? Does it really do anything to the score or they just want to know how fast you read??

First what is a NET test? If it is an entrance exam, than I will say that yes it does matter. We had ATI tests and each category was graded individually and then as a whole. If you didn't do so good in one area they sent you a note stating that you should study up on this subject matter. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure how much it will effect your score but I have agreat web site that will help you. http://www.townsendpress.net/ Every test and worksheet is free and it really will make a different. I used this site and bought the online practice test from ERI...and let me tell you I'm glad I did. I never though the reading section would see so difficult. Well....its not really difficult...you just have to think out of the box.

If you have to take the test over I advise you to use this site..:wink2:

The NET test is an entrance exam for most LPN programs. The reading and comprehension will be important because it gauges how well you can study, or read a question and understand what you have read. You can usually retake NET tests if you have enough time before admission paperwork is due and I would encourage you to do so. Google "NET test" and you get lots of sights that offer free study worksheets. Best of wishes to you.......Rhonda
