Question after an interview

I just had my first interview for a new grad RN position at a hospital. Am I supposed to immediately send a thank you note by email and also mail a thank you card? or is it better to just mail a thank you card and no email note?

Thanks.

I chose to send an email to each person on my interview panel and thank them for their time and to reiterate my interest in working with them. I chose to email because I reasoned that sometimes these decisions are made quite quickly and I wanted to thank them with the chance of standing out before final decisions were made.

I don't know either.....what I did was go to the hospital & drop off the thank you letter in person (to the unit clerk). I put it in an envelope & addressed it - everything except putting a stamp on it.

I don't know what the "proper" way to do this is, but I like this idea better. It's more personal, takes more effort, and it's tactile, which seems to me like it would be more memorable and more appreciated. But like the email, it should be done right away.

I sent an email to both interviewers. I got the job. I sent it within 24 hours because I believed they were interviewing a lot of people and could forget who I was.

There were two people interviewing me. I know that you are supposed to mail a seperate thank you card to each person at the interview, but I'm planning on sending a combined "thank you note" by email. Do I start out by saying "Ms. Kelly Smith and Ms. Jane Jones" ?
