What is CNEP? I know it stands for Clinical Nursing Enhancement Program; but what exactly is it? I have a BSN. I was trying to see if Frontier offered an option for a plain MSN so that I could get it out of the way and apply for my CNM later and just do the midwifery courses. I am totally confused. When I click on the CNM option it only requires a BSN. When I click on the MSN completion it says it requires CNEP; but the courses for CNEP are under Post-Masters Completion.

CNEP at Frontier stands for "Community Based Nurse-Midwifery Education Program". It is the nurse-midwifery track at Frontier and one of the three tracks available there (they also offer FNP and WHNP--Women's Healthcare Nurse Practitioner). If you apply to Frontier, you apply to a specific track and graduate with an MSN in that specialty. If you already have an MSN, you can apply to the Post-Master's program in any of the specialy tracks, including CNEP. Frontier does not offer a generic MSN.
I hope that helps!
