question for you excelsior students

You can start with excelsior anytime. You do not have to wait for the study material. The application just gives you an overview of what courses you need. You can download NC1 and 2 free right off the web and get started studying. You can buy books off of ebay or elsewhere used. You can test in all the prereqs and NC 1and 2 before you enroll and pay the enrollment fee. This will save you money in the long run.

That is assuming you only sent in the app with the $65 app fee and not the actual enrollment fee. If I can answer any questions just pm me. Bell

Thanks for the reply! This whole distance education thing is confusing to me. I was under the impression that you had to wait to be excepted into the school of nursing before you could start any classes. Thanks again for the info!

Bellcollector is correct. It usually takes 4-6 weeks before you receive your enrollment packet, so go ahead and get started if you want to. Good luck to you!
