Hello. I graduated from an ADN program in Georgia on May 14, 2005. I talked with a couple of my classmates and found out that they received their ATTs today. I did not receive mine. I called Pearson Vue and they said that they were still waiting on the Board of Nursing to give authorization for me to test. Of course, by the time I called Pearson Vue the Board of Nursing office was closed, so I will have to wait until tomorrow to call them.
My question is if anyone knows if it is unusual for the Board of Nursing to authorize part of a school's students at one time and the other part at a later time or do they do all of them at once. I was also wondering if maybe they do it in alphabetical order. The classmates that I spoke with today have last names that start with A and H. Unfortunately, mine starts with a Z (I was thinking maybe they went in alphabetical order). I would appreciate any input. I am so impatient and don't think I can wait until the BON opens tomorrow. Thanks in advance....

Not uncommon here in NJ. I graduated May 14 and I know classmates who still have not gotten there ATT yet. I guess it just depends on how fast they process everything.

Hello! For my class of 20 (in California) it seems like they did process our ATT's in waves in alphabetical order, but they did the reverse order starting from Z. We were all only a few days apart though. By the end of last week, we all had them. (We graduated May 20)

Hi RN-to-Be-
Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone in your waiting. I have been calling Pearson & my state Board the past few weeks because I have not received my ATT either, even though most of my classmates have. I strongly urge you to contact your State board as soon as possible. I finally found out that my state board had already declared me eligible to test, but for some reason, Pearson hadn't received the info. My state board had to declare me eligible again (last Thursday), and I just received my ATT through my e-mail as I am typing this!!!! So contact your state board- they might need to declare you eligible again.
I am going to get off this computer and schedule my test!!!
Good luck to everyone-
Well, I just got off the phone with the Georgia Board of Nursing and all she could tell me was that my application had been received on May 31st and that is was still waiting for review. She couldn't tell me when it would come up for review. I found out at work last night that two more of my classmates received their ATTs yesterday. I am so upset! I am so ready to get my license!
To make things even more stressful, I started working 2 weeks ago at a local hospital and they were under the impression that we would be taking boards soon after hire. They hired like 5 or 6 of us that graduated from my school. We have been training with unit secretary's the last 2 weeks. The coordinator told us this morning that she had to find something to do with all of us and that we needed to take boards in June because the hospital couldn't keep paying us to do what we were doing. Like I can help when we take boards. I want to take them probably more than she does. This is so aggravating. I keep trying to have a good attitude about all of this but I see it fading fast.
I guess it will come in due time but the waiting is so hard.
Hang in there and keep calling them.
I am also in Georgia- I know what you're going through.
You will get your info. I would call them every couple of days until I found out what was going on- you usually talk to a different representative each time you phone. You will get to take the test!!! I called Pearson today and I am testing on June 30. I could have tested sooner but chose to wait until the 30th. So there are still times in June.
Hang in there- I will pray for you.
