QI program/audit tools

The new company I work for has a humungous QI program that they have made way to complex. I have always used one comprehensive tool to review all charts not 15 different tools for each part of the chart.

What do you do in your home health agency for an audit tool?

Does anyone incorporate your adverse events audit tools into your regular audit tool to decrease the time in the charts?

That is what I am thinking about doing. Just seeking to see if anyone else has combined their tools.
