pt ratio

What is the average patient to nurse ratio in the hospitals in Florida?

I know that ICU, for example has a lower ratio, but I'm talking about

a med/surg floor?

I have now anywhere from 6 to 8 patients, and depending on the pt.

I feel that is too many,,,,sometimes I feel like I spend 90% charting and

10% with patients...I hate that,,,,,,

Just curious,,,if anyone would care to answer that question for me
