Hi everyone,

I plan on starting the RN-BSN program in the fall with 34 credits to complete it, so how fast could I finish this? I know the classes are at your own pace but just in general how long would it take? Thanks!

PS. My enrollment counselor said I could do 17 credits for the first term then 17 for the second and I would be done. Is that a lot to take on?

I also had 34 credits to complete when I started the RN-to-BSN program. I completed 27 credits during the first term and 7 credits during my last term, all while working full-time 12-hour nights and taking a vacation out-of-state.

Hi

I finished all 34 credits in 6 months. Including time off to take vacations and family obligations and working OT. Its a great program.

That's amazing! I think I can handle 17 credits each term then

The great thing is you can figure it out as you go. If you finish all 17 you pull another class up and keep on going. I found the later classes to be harder, so definitely get as many done as you can that first term. I had 40 to compete. I finished 27 my first term without breaking a sweat. The 13 in my second term have taken a lot more work and effort. I'm just waiting on my last paper to be graded, but will be 40 credits done in 11 months, 5 days. Good luck with your journey.

Wow that's really great to hear. Thank you and congrats!
