Prohibited to practice

Help!!  I was sent a prohibited to practice letter, for a dismissed misdemeanor charge that I thought I didn't have to disclose. What happens now?!?! and how long will this take to settle???? I would be starting my 4th week of orientation but it will have to come to a stop.
