  1. I live in Canada and as far as i know they are hiring more LPNS then RNS in certain areas, our scope of practice is growing so much, we can almost do as much as RNS do. Recently a whole staff of RNS got laid off and they rehired only LPNS. :)
  2. In the LPN program i am taking we have had to do many goup presentations. and during clinical they assign us to do solo presentations. (ex. do a pres. on a med your client is taking). i hate presentations, i get so nervous...so nervous my heart is beating so fast (like i have been running a marathon) and then my voicer starts to shake cause its like i need to catch my breath or something, its crazy and i wish i could get over this fear. oh well i figure it happens and theres nothing i can do so if people are going to laugh at me i cant help it. good luck hope you dont get as nervous as i do!!~~ :)
  3. Hey I'm 19 and an LPN student as well, It is a hard decision if I want to take the RN program after....still unsure! I hope alberta gets some better bridging programs by the time I know what to do. Good Luck and hopefully we do the right thing~ ciao :)
  4. Hi Just wondering if there are any psychic nurses out there and if so do you use this ability to tap into your patients? Thanx :)
  5. i know many canadian lpns that work in the states. check out your local job fairs and there well be people trying to get you to work for em down south. lpns are just as important as rns nowadays, good luck!

  7. You need 65% to pass all the classes. grade point average of 2.0 seems pretty low, i know. hmmm canada
