I was on the select waitlist and accepted last week. I am already committed to attending Yale, so hope whoever gets my spot is a happy person! :-)

That was me!!! I am so glad you got it. I think we met at the reception, you came with your fiancé right? I accepted a spot at Yale but it was a tough choice because I really loved OHSU! Good luck and see you in the field someday!

SU has two waitlists - one for those interviewed and those were not. If they make it through all the interviewed people they will call you for a interview before being admitted

I got a letter on Saturday saying I am on the waitlist - basically if they can get the budget approval for a bigger class then I will be admitted. Anyways I got accepted at Yale and will be attending so I am turning down my spot regardless. Best of luck everyone and enjoy PLU! :-)

In for psych! today has been the best day of my life!!!!! can't wait to meet everyone!!!!!!!

I think they are BOTH amazing programs, so it will be hard to pick. I do like the terminal degree, but I love PLU campus/smaller class sizes/ and I just feel like the faculty really care about each student. Hope I have the choice to pick! Any other acceptances for PLU? I have not heard anything, which is worrying me.

They told me two weeks, and it took about 2 weeks and 1 day! :-)

Congrats! Assuming you got accepted to PLU also? I saw you on the SU board also. I interviewed at both and still waiting to hear back. They are both amazing programs and I hear great things from alumni. I think I am leaning toward SU because I like the idea of not having to apply to a DNP and live in Seattle area. What about you?

Thank you everyone! I am so excited!!!! :-) I want to say sorry but honestly I believe what is meant to be will happen for you. You don't want to attend a school that is not a good fit for you, and you might not be able to see that right now. You took the first and most important step by putting yourself out there and being vulnerable. Rejection sucks and hurts - I would know because I applied to SU last year and didn't get in but it encouraged me to apply to more schools and go outside of my comfort zone. I also have been rejected from other schools I applied to this year. NEVER give up on your dream! I promise you will realize at some point why this year (or school) wasn't meant to be for you but NEVER GIVE UP! Enough passion can get you anywhere in life!!! We will all be ARNP some day!

Sorry for my late reply. I think Jeremymgood is right, they only added one more day and they told us decisions would be mailed to us next week. I heard of someone getting called this week and told she was accepted but I have not been called. Hopefully we will get letters next week! Here are my stats: A lot of volunteer work (including Americorps) and shadowing a psych NP leadership role in a community health center for the last two years (working with psych NPs) pre-reqs - 3.8 (have not taken genetics yet) cumulative 3.2, general science degree and psych minor high writing score, above average math, below average verbal I really stressed working with underserved communities and wanting to do a leadership role in my essays/interview.

That is great to hear! Are you planning to the DNP right after or work? Where do you like and most students live?

The wait is awful, and I don't understand SU process at all. It really sucks for those who have not been interviewed or invited to interview.
