I interviewed 17 Feb..

I was waitlisted. So I have decided to accept the offer from MGH IHP and the scholarship. Can't wait to start!

I just tried calling and the admissions line is busy. I was hoping to even find out if I was waitlisted due to being gone for the next three weeks and not being able to make contact with either of the programs to accept an offer since I haven't accepted MGH until I know more about UMB.

When is the deposit due for everyone that was accepted? I'm still waiting to receive a decision from UMB - says I should know within 14 days.. patiently waiting.

I'm staying positive but I have a feeling I've been waitlisted primarily due to the fact that I don't have the "to-do list" tab or deposit fee on my page that I've read about on other past threads. I'd assume to receive letters around 18-19 of Jan (based on past threads). I could be wrong though- I'm going to be gone the end of January for three weeks doing trauma training so I've already told my husband he's gotta be on the mail box haha .. fingers crossed for good news!!

My status just changed on my application page!! Should have an answer within 14 days.. does anyone know if Umass Boston offers scholarships with their acceptance letters like MGH IHP does? Or scholarships at all? Thank you in advance - keep everyone posted on whether or not I'm in - waitlisted- or denied!! Good luck to everyone else waiting.

Congrats! That's so exciting- thank you for your stats!! I believe mine are- previous Bach GPA 4.0 in respiratory care. Prerequisite GPA 3.775 (if I calculated it right), teas 63.3 - have been a RRT for about 8 years and been in the air national guard for 9 years. Merry Christmas to everyone!!

@nursemarcio congrats that's amazing news!! Have a merry Christmas! I'll keep you posted if and when I hear anything. If you don't mind me asking- what were your stats? I forget if you had already mentioned them..

@nursemarcio - see that's why I'm wondering what's taking mine so long since mine was in "complete" status before you had submitted your application. I hope you get good news!! Def let me know!!! Do you know if UMB offers scholarships? MGH has offered me one but I'm holding out for UMB (I'm in the military so I could attend for free with my tuition waiver). í ¾í´ží ¼í¿»

That's a good sign! I've read threads from past years and it's usually good news!! It's so competitive which makes me a little concerned since I didn't do that well on my TEAS. When did your status change if you don't mind me asking. I submitted my application to UMass fairly early so it feels like I've been waiting a while now. When did you submit yours?

Hi- I was accepted into the Summer 2017 ABSN MGH program as well- but I am also waiting to hear back from Umass Boston! Has your status online changed yet?

I had issues as well with them updating items but it went complete during early November, though I submitted early.

Yeah you're right that's what it looked like on other posts from previous years. Least we won't have to wait too much longer- not that it's really been that long. I submitted early so it just feels longer.

I got into MGH's Summer 2017

Hey Hey!! I was looking for some sort of discussion thread regarding this topic!! I applied for the ABSN Summer 2017 and cannot wait to hear back. The wait is the hardest part. Has anyone else applied anywhere else and/or heard back yet from other programs?? I applied to UMB and MGH and just heard back from MGH this past week that I am in, but I am still holding out to hear back from UMB!! I am currently a RRT (registered respiratory therapist), I've been in the Air National Guard for over 9 years, and GPA was a 4.0 from my previous bachelors which was in Respiratory Care. I didn't do that great on my TEAS but I was sick when I took them so I'm hoping that doesn't put me at a disadvantage. Not sure how to figure out my GPA for my pre-reqs. Fingers crossed we all get in!
