CCBC FALL 2019
Yes, we have spring break as the same time as the rest of the school. The week of finals, usually was an ATI day then the exam so that week was lighter. We also didn't have class or lab every day anymore after Funds. So after Concepts 1, it was always Tues/Thurs lecture days and clinicals Sa/Sun.

CCBC FALL 2019
@MizAweDat Don't believe the hype. You will do fine as long as you do what is asked and be on time. The people that had problems and failed were the ones who did not do what was asked, had excuses why they couldn't do XYZ, and didn't adapt. Most of us in E/W took the days of exams off to study and that was highly successful for us but working is possible. I credit my success to using Success Books, Saunders book, and Youtube-namely RegisteredNurseRn. Doing as many NCLEX questions so you get the hang of them is key to passing exams. Thank you! I can honestly say it went by very fast and wasn't as bad as people said it was. You will be fine!!!!

CCBC FALL 2019
@ElKerrie They scare you but there is not need to be afraid. The program is doable as long as you put in the effort. Its a lot of juggling with everything the first semester for good reason-but keep your head down and read every NCLEX style question you can to get the hang of them and you will do fine. And just so you all know, used books have the same info as the new books! I bought all prior editions for every book and it was never a problem.

CCBC FALL 2019
@MizAweDat I'm graduating in 3 weeks from E/W and worked FT the entire time, 4.0 in all Frostburg classes and passed all CCBC with flying colors. Frostburg classes are the least of your worries. You can do this, but you have to have a plan NOW and organize your life the best you can before August.

CCBC Essex, Nursing Fall 2017
I received an email from Dan Saunders. I haven't received a letter yet. I know CCBC has a ATB meeting tonight and he is there, so maybe that is why you haven't heard yet.

CCBC Essex, Nursing Fall 2017
I got the same letter. I got excited too until I read the bottom. "You have been admitted to the university however your admission to the ATB pathway will be determined by FSU nursing and you will receive a separate communication from them regarding your status" Hopefully, we will find out this week.

I hope it's 60 at Catonsville and 60 at Essex. I'm on edge waiting to find out.

CCBC Essex, Nursing Fall 2017
I applied to Essex for n/w (I posted in the other thread also). I applied to Frostburg ATB as well. I submitted my application back in September, so I'm used to the waiting but I'm so ready to find out. I work full time for the time being, but that may change depending on how school progresses.

CCBC Student. Couple Questions/ Need some Opinions about my TEAS 6
I would retake it. It doesn't hurt you to retake it as long as you show improvement on your scores. When you look at the score report, it will break down your wrong answers and direct you to which pages to study in the TEAS study book. My advice would be to study the TEAS book and a general chem textbook if you can and retake before Jan 15.

CCBC Student. Couple Questions/ Need some Opinions about my TEAS 6
Exactly, they don't look at it and say "ok she has a 78 on this test and a 97 on reading on this other test, we're just going to take the 97". If you take it again, and the overall score is higher than 74%, all the subsections on that test would be counted, whether the scores would be higher or lower than the other subsections on your previous exam. But with your high GPA (great job! btw), it may not matter. A higher TEAS wouldn't hurt.

You have to take the entire TEAS again. Then the school uses the highest scores from the highest scored test to use to determine your acceptance. What is your GPA?
