  1. I would guess every 2 weeks because that was the original acceptance /denial period so I'm guessing the former waitlist-new offer folks get the same time period.
  2. Yep, I got another email. Moved up 7 slots...
  3. I understood Molly to say at First Look that they went into the 40s on the waitlist last year. I know of Spring Terms that only went to 2-3 on the list so the odds are at least in your favor. They said in the waitlist email I received that it would begin with re-ranking the waitlist March 20 (today) so it's possible there would be an update today. Good luck!
  4. Somewhere in the 40s cwata14. 42 maybe?
  5. Thank you rjohns58 for sharing your stats! It's helpful.
  6. Check your emails- Elmhurst College MENP folks. I received my acceptance today. I was a 2/21 interview.
  7. I'm really sorry Rendlau! I'm sure you're scratching your head and you are disappointed. It's just so competitive. You looking at Elmhurst too?
  8. Yes you have two weeks to accept and that acceptance includes your $350 payment to Rush.
  9. While there are pros and cons to consider for both if I were fortunate to get offers from both, I would have one final consideration but likely choose Rush. I pulled out of considering Marquette for some extra hoops I had to jump through there with classes. Do you have a clear choice?
  10. Rendlau did you hear yet?
  11. Congratulations ChicagoAsh!
  12. Thank you so much for sharing Futurenurse518 but most of all-Congraulations. I saw Aglu ask about payment but not sure anyone answered. I remember $350 was initial acceptance payment and you have a 2-week window to accept which is why wait-listers won't hear again until 3/20.
  13. You'll have options, Aglu. That's great! John's Hopkins would be great but doesn't work for me geographically. Best of luck on all.
  14. Aglu, What are your other program choices if you don't get RUSH?
  15. Perrytet and ChicagoAsh. Hi. Did you hear from Rush and/or Elmhurst? My Elmhurst interview was 2/21 so I may not hear til next week it seems.
  16. Hi, FutureNurse518. Are you on the thread for Rush Fall GEM 2017? If not, put that in your search and join that one. You should have heard back by now. I got wait listed but not too far down so I'm hopeful. Hope you got it!
  17. Nice! Congratulations Metzl034. I Got wait listed. Not losing hope because they went 40+ deep last time and I'm not that far down. For those who get accepted, can you share GPAs, experience, etc.? Just so we wait listers can analyze the crap out of our situations while we wait a couple of weeks to move up? :)
  18. 1) Who will make a pact to hop on this thread the moment they see a response so we all know the clock is ticking and we can "refresh" our mailboxes? 2) Tell us your plans for how you will pass the anxious time awaiting the email? I'll go first...I'm planning to get deep into an organizational project at home like insides of cabinets and organizing the contents:) Nervous eating goes without saying. And a cool brisk outdoor walk or two.:)
  19. Hi, NS808. I can appreciate how you are feeling because I'm sure I would feel the same way. The fact that you are feeling this way is likely another good reason that your compassion and motivation are in the right place. Don't throw in the towel. You've worked very hard to get where you are and it sounds like your heart is in it. 1) Have you followed up on the patient's status? I hope he/she is ok and you will feel better about that. 2) I will just be entering nursing school, but my guess is that your preceptor should have been more methodical in checking things before he/she left the room. 3) It's a lesson. You are a student. I'll bet you're more conscientious because of it and will ask questions when something similar occurs. That's a good thing. Good luck to you!
  20. It's THIS FRIDAY everyone. March 3 is THIS Friday. Hooray! Hope interviews went well for all. I'm curious if anyone asked how the decisions are made from the interview forward. For example, if there were 4 interviewers total do they rank/recommend their top 25 candidates each and throw them in a pool for a panel, or do they all talk together in a room...?
  21. Hi. How did the Rush Skype go? My interview at Rush was in person but Elmhurst College was Skype. It worked out totally fine and I don't think it hurt chances in anyway, but I just didn't like it. It felt impersonal to be sure just due to the format.
  22. Hi, I'm just applying to nursing schools, but I'm reading the question above to specifically be speaking about Care "Pathway" variance and no other type and therefore only A or B would be possible answers. Just normal test taking skill and not that you don't know your stuff, I'll bet. Good luck.
  23. Hi, FutureNurse 518. I immediately got the interview notice as well. You can see the calculated GPAs by going to Status/Choose Rush/click download PDF and it's basically your entire application. Scroll down below transcripts and you will see GPA calculations! Good luck!
