  2. I found out today I was accepted into the DNP FNP program? Have not heard back about the Area of Expertise scholarship
  3. @NursingiA2023 Congratulations!! What time did you hear/ what was the email heading? LOL I think they send out in batches
  4. Received confirmation that the admissions committee met today for DNP decisions, should hear soon, good luck to everyone!
  5. @NursingiA2023 FNP DNP! I might be the only one on this thread that applied to this program, but hoping we find out around the same time! haha
  6. Thank you for the update, good luck! Which program did you apply to?
  7. I agree! My theory is we will hear back by next Thursday. I applied to the FNP-DNP program They said mid to late March, I think they found out last year March 21
  8. @RNJoy32 I haven't heard anything as of yet, at the interview they said decisions go out mid to late March. Did you apply for January deadline?
  9. Hello! Has anyone heard back for DNP FNP? I applied for the January deadline & just interviewed, but curious if anyone that applied for the Nov deadline has heard anything?
  10. I ended up not getting accepted my freshman year. I applied with a 3.8, CNA experience, Board member of a club, and hospital volunteer experience. I also know of 5 friends that were denied with 4.0's and experience in healthcare. Though I also know of a few people accepted with no healthcare experience and a 3.5. I would recommend getting good letters of recommendation and making yourself stand out in the personal statement. I am re applying this year as a Sophomore, so hopefully second time is a charm lol. This year the application is wayyyyy different. It is based off a point system, so if you have a high GPA you get more points, good letter of recommendation more points, CNA/LPN license more points, and so on. Will you be taking Anatomy at VCU this year?
  11. Hey guys, I'm a current VCU freshman applying into The Traditional BSN Program this year (2017). I'd love to talk with anyone that is applying, or has applied to this program! I'm nervous about submitting my application that is due February 1st. So far I have a 3.8 GPA, and have submitted my 2 letters of recommendation. All I have left is to edit my personal statement. Anyone have any advice, or is going through the same process?
