    I think,NZ and Australia have the same rules of hiring nurses outside NZ & Australia.. Based on my readings from Australia Board of Nursing, you at least have a Degree in Nursing and IELTS score at least 7.Then,you will have a training 6months-18months in clinicals .It's like you have to study again for a short period and you need to have at least 15k AUD for the study fee.Hope answered your questions.

    woah,it needs a lot of courage to work with surgeons. its happened to me a lot since I've been starting my job as an OR nurse. I've been working for almost 3 years and still learning! I need to know to scrub and assists all disciplines (General Surgery,Maxillio-facial, Neuro,OBS&Gynes,Ortho).Plus I need to be a circulating nurse and Anaesthetist nurse as well.So 3 years, are not enough!
