  1. I ended up going with the Cardiology IV. I'm happy with my decision and have been able to hear well with it so far, but others in my program have gone with the Classic and seem to be happy with it too!
  2. Hi there, I'll be starting nursing school this June. We were given a few choices for stethoscopes, but I have narrowed it down to either the Littman Cardiology IV or Classic III. I don't mind spending more for quality and longevity, especially since I plan to become a nurse practitioner (most likely FNP or AGNP). Which stethoscope would be better for me? Thanks in advance!
  3. Hi larakg I'm so glad to see another marathon runner on here! I ran the marathon last year, and had to take a microbiology midterm the very next day. That wasn't fun. But at least you'll get Marathon Monday off - it looks like we won't have class on 11/7 217-218 Academic Calendar | School of Nursing I don't know about all of you, but I'm still very much on cloud nine. I keep signing on to the admissions portal to look at the confetti coming down the page I can't wait to meet you all at Visiting Day!

  5. Just when I thought we wouldn't hear back this week!!!!! ACCEPTED into the MDE program!!!
  6. Happy early February, everyone
  7. I was wondering that myself! Did they mean by the first week of February as in the end of week (Friday, Feb. 3rd) or Feb. 7th? I just want to know already. I have been checking my email constantly since the end of last week. I jump at every new email I get and am so, so disappointed when it's not *the email*
  8. I was under the impression that last year, Columbia told applicants that decisions would be released mid-February, and decisions ended up being released on Feb. 7th. This year, we were told that decisions would be released early February...I'm gonna hope that they keep up their trend of releasing decisions earlier than expected! The wait is killing me!
  9. Hi everyone! Long time lurker here, just as anxious as you. I submitted my application on October 1st and still haven't had the initial review. I submitted it without missing any documents and know my application is complete. I also contacted admissions today and got the same answer as katosu - initial review will be happening until December. I am a ball of nerves right now and wonder why my application hasn't passed the initial review yet.
