  1. Thank you so so much for this info, it helps tremendously. Truly appreciate you!
  2. I am cheering you on!! You got this, love your energy and outlook. Absolutely they saw something in your application, I hope you get in this cycle ❤️
  3. Hi Terilyn, Thank you for your input! I do have a few questions off the top of my head. Do you know any classmates who commute from NJ? What does the schedule look like on average (M&W lecture online, Tues in-class seminars, etc etc)? I understand it is not the same program as yours, but do you happen to know how many individuals were accepted for the FNP program or a bell park range (I have a friend who applied and got waitlisted— trying to investigate for her)? Thanks so much! ?
  4. I got accepted as well, I’m so relieved and also stressed about the move so soon! Anyone have any tips on relatively safe areas that are affordable LOL!
  5. Thank you for sharing that, I was very bummed about NYU after reading the previous post about an interview. You turned my day around! I am also waiting to hear back from Columbia, I think tomorrow might be the day!
  6. Is there an interview process for the FNP program?
  7. I am unsure why, but my guess is that it gives them the opportunity to offer spots to the top students who may or may not attend. In the event that said student decides not to accept then they can then still offer that spot to another applicant within the decision time frame. I did not have a phone interview, wondering if that means I didn’t get accepted. I also applied to Columbia and they did not do interviews so I thought that was a NY trend. Either way, congratulations that looks like a good sign for you =).
  8. I submitted Jan 30, interviewed Feb 11. Best of luck to you ?
  9. Thank you for posting that, I appreciate it! I am hoping it is this week as well. I attended one of the virtual seminars and they said early-mid march so I am eager to hear back from them. Considering it is the 15th aka mid march, I am starting to sweat. Congratulations on hearing back! Mothers are the most resilient individuals on earth, you got this!
  10. I applied to FNP at Hopkins, NYU, and Columbia. I feel like some specialties hear before others/at different times so its difficult to pin point. Half the time I am getting my decision timelines mixed up between the the three schools LOL. I am now working on my applications for Duke and George Washington Univ., those are due May 1, but FNP for those too!
  11. Not yet! I was just browsing the forums. Seems like those who applied to early decision received news but those of us who applied after that are still waiting (that is what I have gathered). I'll post on here too if I get word from Hopkins as other threads seem a bit dead LOL!
  12. Has anyone received a decision since the previous user posted? I submitted 2/11 and have not heard anything yet :)
  13. I have been browsing the previous threads and keep seeing the third week of march as the average release date. Of course those threads are a mix of the other DNP programs as well so it is hard to tell. As soon as I hear anything I will post on here, hope we all get in together! I am so excited!
  14. Oh rats they said late March too??? I was hoping mid March was the latest. I guess I’ll keep twiddling my thumbs waiting for an email. I thought applicants who applied earlier last year would have decisions out by now but it seems like they look at all applications and then do one round of decisions. Hoping for the best and wishing all of us good luck!
  15. Congratulations that’s amazing!! Did you apply to the first or second deadline for Hopkins? I applied to the second and haven’t heard back yet. As far as jobs, may do PRN and take out a larger loan to help cover costs. Unsure yet, but if Columbia accepts me then I definitely need to plan fast!
