No, phase 2 interviews are based on covinience. Phase 2 assignments are completely separate.

I leave for training in 20 days then CRNA school follows. I'll try to answer your questions as best as I can. UNE biochem- first week had me feeling pretty small. The rest of the course wasn't all that bad. The tests (especially 2 and 4) are intimidating but there is a one time extension offered if you get a bit behind. As for the amount of time it takes to get everything in order for USAGPAN, it is pretty terrible. I had a hang up with my NEU references, they have to be separate references from the USAGPAN application and thus have to go on and fill out the form online. I kept getting email after email saying I had an incomplete application. I do know that you will not get an acceptance letter until after you have an interview at one of the Phase II sites. If you don't know already, you and your healthcare recruiter will travel to the nearest Phase II site and you will spend 2-2.5 days in the OR as a shadow and have an exit interview with the site's director. The Phase II director (a current Army CRNA) will say yes or no and send a letter to both the program and NEU. Once NEU has word from the army they will accept you. For a timeline, I did my Phase II interview towards the end of August and got my acceptance from both NEU and USAGPAN September 19/20. From that point on you have to wait to be commissioned into the Army (inactive reserves awaiting orders to report). This can be a lengthy process. For me, I was accepted to the program in September and was commissioned Dec 7. There are plenty of factors involved, all of which are out of your control. I hope I'm remembering everything correctly and I hope it helps!

I went ahead and started a facebook group.. I made it public for now, I figured it would make it easy to connect. We can adjust it or trash it later. Either way it's called "USAGPAN 2017 Students."
