  1. I would try Credible too, it screens your demographics and matches you with a private loan option you're eligible to apply for, and doesn't hurt your credit!
  2. Hey Sashion, Sorry if this is a little late but you should take a look at the Private loan options on the NYU Financial Aid Office's website. Here is a list I gathered and you can check to see if you qualify for any of these: Sunmark Federal Union WSFS Cedar Education Learning LendKey College Avenue Commonwealth one federal credit union IHelp Altra Earnest Citizens Wells Fargo Discover Pentagon Federal PNC NYU Federal Credit Union Thrivent Federal Student Choice Alliant SunTrust Hope this helps
  3. Hey y109, I would highly focus on completing all your sciences first then apply. I had all my sciences completed when I applied, and I'm currently taking psych and nutrition online. If I were you, I would wait to apply until the Spring, when you have more prerequisites completed because at this point it seems like you don't have much completed for the admissions committee to determine your ability to handle their rigorous program. I'm sure you'd able to to, but I think waiting it out is your best bet. Also focus on your essay and try to get As in the rest of your prereqs. I heard the Fall cohort is also much more competitive.
  4. I've only looked at craigslist for housing options and NYU housing for now. What has everyone else (that's not from NYC) looked into? Also anyone moving from the PA/South Jersey area?
  5. Congrats to those who got in!! I received my acceptance this morning as well. Has anyone started a Facebook page yet? Also for those of you who got accepted and are not from NY, do you know where you're going to live? I will be moving from Philadelphia and would love to be able to be able find roommates over here. Perhaps for those who are interested you can just shoot me an email at: [email protected]. So excited and can't wait to meet my future classmates! :)
  6. Ahh congratulation to those who have been accepted! Still waiting..hopefully we all hear back soon enough. For those who got in - if you don't mind, could you share you stats?
