  8. Hi everyone, I graduated 1997, took the local nursing board in the Philippines but failed, I was devastated. I was so depressed and ended up getting married. After 14 years, with 3 beautiful girls, my marriage ended bec of domestic violence, moved here in the US, reunited with my first BF and we got married 2014. I was blessed with a baby boy( BTL done). I gave birth August 2015 and January 2016 I said to myself I need to move and be a Nurse. Bought Hurst Reviewer, Lippincott and NCLEX-RN mastery (app)to review; self review while working and taking care of my family. September 2016 my husband and I were Laid Off. I took it as a chance to review for my exam. I took the exam last October 15 and after 3 days I got the result, I failed. CPR= near passing score. 19 years without any hospital experience, no refresher nor follow up study. A lot of things changed in the world of Nursing, from 1997 to 2016. God knows how much i want to become a Nurse, but I have no one to ask for advice or help. So now my plan is to take the exam again (after 45 days) I will get NCSBN review class(8 weeks online review) use Lippincott and Saunders book. Can you give me an advice, pointers, suggestions or help? Thank you in advance. 🙂
