  1. This is a politically "hot button" issue that needs to be discussed in the public forum. May I recommend a book that deals with the questions and ramifications. It is Last Rights: Rescuing the End of Life from the Medical System. The author is Stephen P Kiernan. It is a worthwile read, especially for anyone in the medical profession. I believe it should be mandatory for all politicians and policy wonks. It is a fascinating take on end-of-life issues that I think you will find worthwile. Thanks ... M
  2. Actually ... good infection control technique calls for the OR staff to remove their caps and booties and donning a lab coat when they leave the OR suite. Also, no masks hanging around their necks. That does include physicians who do, actually, carry microorganisms as well as the rest of us. Best to you all!!
  3. Hello .. I am new to this site. Our team is looking for info on scrub products that are being used in the openheart suite. Our Surgeon is unhappy with the products we have to offer and what he wants to use is a product that does not pass our Infection Control standards. Any suggestions?
