Hey guys! I applied for BSN - DNP for fall 2024. I was wondering how are y'all enjoying the program right now? Professors, coursework, etc. Anyone still working full time? Would love to hear about your experiences!

I was waitlisted in January of this year. Granted, I was accepted to another program and began in May of this year. But I also never heard anything back from Emory. It's a little ridiculous that they never update your status when you've been waitlisted. Some people may have really been banking on this program and to not hear ANYTHING is crazy :-/

my GPA was either 3.4 or 3.5 when I applied. I got accepted to the Newnan campus. And you're welcome :-)

I was waitlisted back in January and STILL haven't heard anything smh. The thing with Emory is they accept people all the way up until fall right before the program starts, so you really won't know how long you are going to wait. Thankfully I was accepted into a different nursing program beginning this May. Waiting this long for an acceptance into a nursing program is s bit crazy to me. But on the bright side, that opens up a spot for someone who is still waiting :-)

Has anyone gotten an email from their advisor yet??

Are y'all commuting or moving down there? If moving there, does anyone know of good areas for students to stay? I'm looking to get a small affordable 1 bedroom/bathroom in Newnan.

Just got my acceptance to the Newman campus!!!!Good luck to the rest and I'll see some of y'all in May!

Also, are we supposed to go to the UWG orientation (May 25) AND the nursing program's orientation (May 17)??? I am about to register for UWG's orientation but I wanted to double check before paying the non refundable fee. I emailed the school about it but no one has replied back.

Does anyone by chance know when they start sending out admission decisions? I know they said we will here something no later than April 1st. So I'm assuming they'll be sending out decisions pretty soon!

I think the email you were talking about was just sent out. I got an email with some info about if you're accepted

I haven't gotten it. When do they usually send it out? They JUST started reviewing applications (2/1), so it may be awhile

A few hours after I posted that, I got an update on my application lol I got waitlisted :-) I'm pretty happy about that, it's better than an initial denied letter, so I still have a chance. Anyone who's still waiting for a decision, check your application for an update!

Is anyone still waiting for an admission decision?? They said we would here something no later than 1/15 and I still haven't heard anything. Btw, I submitted in October

Hey everyone! I just submitted my application for their program. 3.54 GPA 80% HESI already have a bachelors degree in another field I've been a CNA for two years I also applied for the Newnan campus as my first choice I'm just praying and believing I'll get into their program! Feeling really good about it í ½í¸Š

I emailed them on 12/6 regarding if they were sending out anymore decisions. This was their reply: "Thank you for contacting Emory School of Nursing! Our admission committee is hoping to release more decisions within the next couple of weeks, but the latest you would hear back is January 15th. I hope this answers your question and have a good day! "

Has anyone experienced any delay in your transcripts getting a green check? I ordered all three of my transcripts to be delivered electronically on 10/1 and only one has a green check mark. I just wasn't sure, why one was viewed and the others weren't. I guess I should just give it time?? I'm sure there are a lot of applicants applying now.

Hey! I'm a little late to the game. Getting ready to submit my app tomorrow. This may be a dumb question, but on the section where they want you to fill in your education, did you guys just put the institution where you got your previous degree or did you also add the colleges where you took/currently taking your prerequisites? Thanks in advance!
