  1. @CCRNCalifornia yes, I agree it does build character! LSU has access to a great transplant center and VA system as well (that's what i liked about the program). And thank you! My stats: Undergrad GPA: 3.62 Grad GPA: 3.7 SICU/transplant: 19months, PCU: 1 year GRE: 303/4.0 CCRN/ACLS/BLS/PALS
  2. @CCRNCalifornia I spoke to a senior student during the tour and it seems to be the common consensus is that students are switching clinical sites every 2 months (he said you stay there long enough to get comfortable then you're thrown into a new environment). I do not believe there are clinical rotations on the weekends/holidays, however I am not sure, specifically the holidays. And I accepted my Rush University offer a few weeks ago.
  3. “Attrition rate” is counted when students actually start the program then drop out after classes have already begun. I don’t plan on accepting the offer to attend LSU in 2020, however that will not affect their attrition rate. And don’t count yourself out! LSU has a large cohort of students. And I feel they are still deciding on who will be in this cohort. Send me a message if you have any questions, maybe I can answer (i asked a several of questions.)
  4. Received call from director today, so you all should here soon too!
