Get an RN, then what?
Hello there everyone, I am a pre-nursing student starting my sophomore year of college. I have always wanted to be in the medical field and have decided to get my BSN and follow it up with a graduate program, as I'll have to fall back on if things go south. I am looking in to the pros and cons of CRNA and Perfusion programs. So far this is what I have: CRNA: +Good pay +Active job (less likely to become bored) +Job Availability -Gruesome education, 3 years -Min. 1 year ICU Experience to get in Perfusion: +Good pay +Less gruesome education, 2 years -Job Availability (limited) -Not as active as most healthcare jobs I am looking for input and advice on the subject of which one would be best for me. I'll tell you that I am not the most social person, I never have been (I am somewhat shy). While making a lot of money is great, I am not willing to work at a job that I hate for a few extra bucks an hour. If you were in my shoes, what would you do?

How I got into CRNA school.
Hey there Powertip, you might have already answered this question, but how do you like Union's program? I am actually planning on applying there after I get all of my credentials.

Chemistry Now or Later
Okay, so it worked out, I signed up for a night biology class to make up the hours. I love biology!

Chemistry Now or Later
I am going to talk to them tomorrow, hopefully we can work something out.

Chemistry Now or Later
I am really wanting to drop it, because it is taking up a lot of my time and is distracting me from my other classes. The problem is this, I currently have 15 credit hours, and if I drop Chemistry, it goes down to 11 (part-time). So right now I am stuck! Any suggestions or ideas will be appreciated!

Chemistry Now or Later
Hey there, I am a College Freshman, and am currently enrolled in General Chemistry 1. I am struggling in the class and am thinking about withdrawing and taking it some other time. I AM a freshman, so I am having to get used to college life, let alone a "difficult" subject such as Chemistry. My school's BSN program doesn't require a Chem credit, but I am wanting to be CRNA, so that's what throws the kink in avoiding Chem all together. Basically my question is, should I withdraw and fight another day, or struggle through it now and get it over with? Thanks.
