Sorry I know this thrend is from last year, may I ask what does that Mandatory first Orientation (Packet Orientation) consist of? They mentioned its about papers works where our clinical is going to be in? Just wanted to know how this orientation is vital. I have a situation that I can't attend in this first mandatory orientation, I mention to them that I won't be in the country when it happens. They told me that I must be on that orientation or else cannot continue with the admission. This trip has been plan months ago and cannot be cancelled and its regarding my grandmas health visiting her. Should I keep begging them to reconsider my situation or just let go of it. Thanks hoping to hear from you.

The last few days of Aug is when I got the call from the office. Seems like people were not coming thru with accepting their admission invite so I got the last few spot. I went ahead to the office and picked up the invite saying that I made it in spring 2018. yet when I saw there will be mandatory orientation on Oct. 11, it made decision more difficult to accept. That week I won't be in the country because regarding of my grandmas health, this trip has been plans months ago. So I alarmed them about my situation talked to angel then I talked to the director. After all the talking and begging that if its possible even though i won't make it in the mandatory orientation and still be able to continue with the admission. I was still denied and gave me alternatives. So I have a few days to decide if should I stay and be present in the orientation or fly out of the country and just skip this semester and go in fall 2018. This has been such a big stressor, my parents has been in my back about when am I getting accepted to the program. Now I have this chance, should I let go of it or should I stay. *Sorry about this little rant.* I hope to talk to y'all soon!

Hey any updates with your situation, am currently in the same boat. I really lost the drive after they told me that they miscalculated my cut score. First my cut score was 80 above and all of a sudden they called me saying the old administration miscounted my cut score. Now i dont know what to do. A friend of mine is in the same situation and have taken 3 classes to raise up that GPA so that cut score can go up. After taking that 3 classes with A grade. Gpa didnt even went up. I really dont want to waste more semester just because I keep pushing myself to get in Valley. I rather look at other colleges

So I bought TEAS V Manual and ATI TEAS Manual Review (6th) Both can definately help you out, works side by side. ATI V has lots of explaination towards each topics and lots of exercise and question. In the other hand, ATI Manual Review (6th) has explanation but not enough (not ellaborated some of the topics) and little bit of question yet has all the insight for the new version test which added topics that is not in 5th version. PLUS topics that are taken out. Being that said, even though there are lots of error in the 6th version, you should take a look at it because that is how your getting tested, by that version. (You can email ATI for error correction) I have taken the practice test a/b for 5th version and i have taken 6th version A test, i can tell you that 5th and 6th version A pratice test is very similar. I am taking the practice test B next week. Ill update you guys if its similar/different.

Hey guys, Thanks for telling letting us know you experiences, am going to be taking the TEAS 6 beginning October. This is my second time taking it, didn't make it on the first one. I appreciate if you guys can tell us post-test. I would want to see what topics to look at or the difference with TEAS 5 as far as topics. I bought the ATI teas 6 manual because they did have new topics added plus that we be able to use calculator. Thanks again.
