I went to meet and greet no call today ??? They said they would start calling today. I am from Houston wanting to return to SA. I missed all of Houston’s deadline for nurse residency. I applied to the ER only.

I am in and my score was a 7.47 overall. 7.4 was good too!!!

Natj23 I am currently in the program at Cyfair. You will get in. They accept 50 students. Your score is great!!! Congrats!!!! They do take a long time to answer the phones or any emails when you are trying to get in. Even orientation and schedules were given out about 2 weeks prior to classes but then Harvey happened.

What about CYFAIR.

It would be lovely if we found out today for the RN program. I depend on an acceptance. My future plans will completely change if I do get in somewhere. Did anyone get through CYFAIR and ask them when letters would be sent out? They are hard to answer the phone. Not sure why if they are there!!

7.472 Cyfair first choice ->Tomball -> Montgomery -> North Harris. Though I probably would want to go to North Harris now! But wherever I get in is fine too!!

If you can't remember just know the MATH portion. You need that. I will do a self refresher. I did hear by the teacher that I took it with that a lot of nursing students fail because they forget the math portion and do not know how to calculate medications even though they had been doing well on everything else.

I took pharmacology class already this past fall at North Harris. It was a lot of work and a lot of medications to learn. I think the math portion of it is important and that was easy. I ended up with an 86 in the class. I hope I don't have to retake that class again. I am ok with a B in that class. I am trying to keep a part time job though. I sure do not want to do a full time job because I want to do my best in the nursing classes if I get in.

Have any of you guys taken Pharmacology for the nursing program at Lonestar? Will any of you guys be working if admitted to the program? Is it recommended that you not work?

Hi. I applied today at Cyfair for ADN program with a 7.472. I hope it gets me in. I did not want to retake the HESI. I took it once and Honestly did good without studying for it. I missed spring 2107 because my provider order wrong hep B. And almost missed for fall 2017 for same reason but I got it all in today. Now feeling nervous.
