Well guys, I am not too proud to say this but I got my letter today and I did fail... So I am back at square 1 and contemplating about taking it again..I am going to purchase UWORLD and use that to study. Anyone else have any effective reviewers they can recommend? My target is in February for my retest.

Well I got my results, 4 weeks after my test date and yes, I did fail..again.. Right now I am contemplating on taking it again. I'm going to purchase UWORLD and a delegation, priority book. Hoping the best for you Tameen. I am planning on taking it again in Feb and will be my last attempt.

It has been 4 weeks for me now, waiting for my NCLEX PN result..I am also in CA and I took it 8/22. Aghh the wait continues..I've been positive and praying for a passing letter.

I am from California. The NCLEX-PN does not get quick results like the NCLEX-RN so we have to wait a while..I havent heard of anyone waiting longer than 10 days and passing..

Congrats on passing. It must be a huge sigh of relief. I haven't gotten my results yet and it has been 3 weeks for the NCLEX-PN..anxiously waiting. Lol.

I am from California. I did the pvt and got denied card or something, basically the bad pop up is what they call and so far, nothing in the mail. It has been almost 3 weeks. I guess the agonizing wait continues. No quick results for us NCLEX PN takers. The RN's have quick results if they pay and is available after 48 hours, if im not mistaken..So yup..

We cannot really check the BON website, unless you are an RN, you have quick results and once you know you pass within like 48 hours, you pay the fee and your name shows up. LVN's do not have that. You just have to wait, tirelessly, for your pass/fail letter. Lol.....

Hey guys, it has been 15 days and nothing in the mail. I am hopeful for a good result..I have set aside money for UWORLD and registration again just in case everything goes south..

I took mine at Redlands, CA on August 22 @ 1pm..It shut me off at 85 questions, like on my first try and now I am anxiously and patiently waiting.. Agh

So it has been officially 8, almost 9 days since I have taken my NCLEX PN and so far nothing in the mail.. When I get paid next week, I will register and get 2 months of UWORLD and take the exam again because I am anxious..Aghh..California's waiting time is so...unforgiving. lol

Nothing yet. It has been a week today..Man, if I failed, just tell me so I can prepare again.. Lol. I got the denied card pop up so I am guessing I failed..I will just go ahead and register again..

Well I did try the infamous PVT trick with 2 old debit cards and 1 Americas tire gift card. Payment was declined and reason was invalid credit card number or call the credit card company and use a different card.. So I am guessing this is a bad sign....So I do not know what to do know. The site administrator for Pearson Vue said that the only reason why people get the " good pop up " was because they had just taken the test recently and that is why it is saying the payment cant go through, you already have a test scheduled etc.. It will take your money regardless if you passed or not, the words straight from him..he said not to even try it or believe in it.those people who passed probably did study and it is just a coincidence they get the good pop up and attribute it to being a pass/fail trick.so I dont know..Omg..I am freaking out..I will most likely go look into UWORLD and buy the 90 day subscription next month and take my test again in February..

Well here in California, unless you are an RN, you have quick results. The NCLEX PN does not have quick results so waiting time ranges from 2-6 weeks until you get your result. Your name will not show on the BON website (unless there is another way to find out that I do not know) unless you receive your pass letter and pay the $100+ fee to get your license and then they'll put your name on the website along with your license number and ' active ' . We have CA Breeze and I keep checking that since I am anxious and nervous about my result and so far nothing. It has been 4 days. Keeping my fingers crossed.. I can't help it but think of getting the 90 subscription for UWORLD and start studying..that is how anxious and nervous I am.. I haven't tried the so called " PVT " but I probably will with an old unused debit card when I go home..Goodluck to you too.

Hello everyone. I want everyones opinions about a good NCLEX PN reviwer. Let me back track and give some background. I graduated from my LVN program on December 2013. I knew the NCLEX would be a major barrier for me to overcome since I am not a very good test taker. The following year, I signed up and scheduled my NCLEX PN exam for October. I did not do much studying right after graduation up until July. I did practice questions from Kaplan and bought this Kaplan reviewer which I also used. I did around 2000+ questions from June until October..this wasnt an everyday thing for me to do since I had school and work. When test day arrived, I was anxious, nervous and all that jazz and went in with my head held high and took the exam. The computer shut me off at 85 questions and that took almost 2 hours..I left the test center feeling uneasy but I tried to remain positive. Weeks later, I got the letter that I failed and I contemplated on taking the exam again.. Fast track to this year, I registered and payed for my exam and had it scheduled this past Monday. I bought this exam cram book which had an online Q bank that I went over a lot of times. It also had this important things to know paper in the beginning of the book ( lab values, normal vital signs, etc ) and that is all I did to study..I took my exam on Monday and it shut me off at 85 questions again....and it took me almost 3 hours. I definitely had a better feeling than last time and now I am anxious to know my result. It is stressing me out to a point where I am looking to review again, so here comes my question. What are good NCLEX PN reviewers that you guys used that helped you better prepare for the NCLEX PN?

Does Mark Klimek have reviewers/audios for NCLEX PN as well? I am still waiting for my 2nd attempt result and I have looked into UWORLD and Hurst as potential reviewers should I get the bad news I failed...I have heard about Mark Klimek from others and was wondering if you could email your stuff to me? Hey Tameen. I also took my NCLEX PN on Monday here in California. When I started, I felt fine. I was able to answer the questions, then it kept switching from SATA to priority and then 2 math questions then back and then nursing conference ones. It shut me off at 85 questions and that took me 3 hours.. On my first try, it shut me off at 85 too and it took me like almost 2 hours..I hope I passed because I gave it my all and I hope you passed too. Goodluck!! I did not do the PVT trick because it is unreliable and the reason why many people get that message or good pop up as explained by the site administrator is that, you are still have the test registered and it wont let you register for the time being..regardless if you passed or not, when you go back to register lets say 2-4 days after, it will accept your payment.. I am really anxious about my result that I looked into UWORLD and Hurst today to maybe sign up and study again... lol
