i dont have any other options right now, my grades are not all that great due to irresponsibility. and most cuny wont let you repeat any courses. i graduated with a 3.5 gpa in the lpn prohram. transfered to lehman and had to take precalc for no reason and failed bring my gpa lower than a 2.0. so cuny right now is out of my options.

i am planning on applying there, cuny's are way to competitive, and im losing hope in ever achieving to become an RN. anybody that would tell me how is the chemistry and how is the entrance. is it competetive?

if i wanted to sit here an get criticized i couldnt went somewhere else, okay whats done is done im looking for other ways, if you dont have the answer nobody forced you to hit reply, if you dont have nothing nice to say dont say it at all, the grades i got ive fought to the point of going to the school president, the school was horrible , now can i take them over , yes but they will still go by the first grade, so how can i move on from where im at, simple question love

thanks , do you have any places in mind, i looked into helen fuld and i know there is no chance at lehman college. and im currently at lagaurdia college so all community colleges are competitive as well

i have honey more than 60 percent of students failed his class nobody has passed his class with a an A , only 7 students from that class has graduated with a B , so once again like i sad it wasnt my fault i studied and studied like i always do, now if i was really bad in A and P i would've done horribly in the LPN program but again i didn't, ace every exam in nursing school with no problems, second the chem again ppor teaching method, teacher made us watch videos and come back to class just to do nothing no lecturing, would you expect to get an A in a class where a professor made u teach yourself, i dont think so, third my A n P 2 my professor passed away in the middle of the semster i was getting 80's in his test but the department used the final to determine the final grade and disregarded any grades earned in the time he was teaching, 30 of s fought the department because it was unfair, again we lost and those grades stayed. so please dont sit here and tell me that i need to see what i did wrong when i have been doing everything right

so ill start by this, im very passionate about nursing, i live for nursing and cant see myself being anything else besides a RN, i am trying so hard to get into a nursing program and take the NCLEX RN, i have taken my prerequisites, and most of them i got A's but my anatomy and physiology grades are both C+ and my chemistry as well, now i know people will say well they rather have someone who knows the body ect ect, but the reason i got those C's was due to the way the professor taught the class or they were had very heavy accent and could never understand them, i have my LPN for 9 months now during the programs i always aced my exams with 90's and graduated top at my class, and passed the NLCEX a month later with 85 questions, but i do want to go on to receive my RN but right now my chances are low with the grades i got for these courses. nursing school is competitive as it is, i constantly think about changing majors for over a year now but i honestly cant i eat ,breathe, sleep nursing. what can i do should i wait till these calsses are expired and take them over or should i really give up and just stay as an lpn and get a degree in something else. BTW can anybody fill me in on excelsior college would that be and option i can do. anybody in the NY area please help

yes i have contacted them they said to check again tomorrow and most likely it will be posted up there they are really backed up on paper work

Hello i recnelty took my nclex RN on the 25 of june found out that i passed, now i know of some people who had their license number up the website within a matter of days but its been two week and i havent gotten anything no letter no licence number posted on the BON website, im located in new york and i have a job offer waiting for me and the only thing that is missing is my licence number, im really really hoping i dont have to wait the whole 6 weeks to get my licence can anyone who has recently taken their NCLEX in new york help me i dont want to loose this job but i just dont know whats taking so long
