  1. @centercourt2015 - thank you for replying! I appreciate the insightful feedback. I'll def keep these in mind for nursing school! :)
  2. Hey everyone! I'm currently in the process of completing my pre Reqs online with Straighterline to then hopefully transfer into the program! I plan to finish my pre Reqs and TEAS before the April 2017 deadline for the June 2017 program start. I'm so excited and would love to hear about others' experience while in the program. I live in the Orlando area so I know getting to clinicals will be a commute! I guess my first questions are, does any past medical experience help your chances of getting in? do you guys think it looks like you can complete the courses and graduate before the 5 terms since it's all self-paced? And how are the clinicals, do you get to work with other WGU nursing students? So cool to see other Florida residents in the program I hope to get into! -Robby
  3. Hey there! I'm currently in the process of completing my pre Reqs online to then hopefully transfer into the program! I noticed this post is a few years old so I wanted to know how your experience was while in the program? (How long it took you/is there a way to complete the program before the full 5 terms, how were the clinicals and how they scheduled them.. etc) I would love to pick your brain, if you're willing. LOL! Also, I currently live in the Orlando area so I know getting to clinicals will be a commute! Thanks for any help! -Robby
  4. tsm007, BSN - Thank you for the suggestion! I appreciate you answering back to me and so quickly. LOL. Have a great week! :)
  5. Hey everyone! I am about to start my pre-reqs with Straighterline to then transfer them to WGU's Prelicensure BSN program. I noticed I can pretty much take them all with SL, but the only course i'm a little worried about is the Lifespan Human Growth and Development requirement. I noticed that Straighterline doesn't have a course equivalent to this and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to where I can take this course online and also transfer it to WGU? I do have a scheduled phone call with an enrollment counselor with WGU coming up this week, so i'll talk to them about it as well if anything, but I just wanted to hear what fellow students suggest. Thank you in advance!
