Thank you! I was just feeling a bit down because no hospital would give a shot... but i managed to get a job at a hospital at med/oncology, but i am looking forward to working in both settings

Hi guys !! I have been a Rn for almost 7 months, after a failure in L&D and quitting that job , i got an offer at a rehab/ltc hospital, which i accepted and will start next month, many hospital interviews that i had at hospitals for all departments there is tell me that i don't have enough experience and that they dont want to spend all this money and time with me because it might not work out. my question is do you think rehab/ltc experience can give me the opportunity to find a RN med/ surge job after 1 year?

After the director of L&D told me i was gonna get a call from HR it took a week for the phone call and an additional week for the offer letter. The whole process took about a month and a half starting from my 1st interview to the day i started working . Good luck!

I did! got nothing! but i received a phone call from Hr yesterday and was informed that the letter is not sent by email and that i have to sign in person, so i signed it yesterday it is official!! here i come L&D !!!

Thank you to all of you!! i was freaking out lol but the good news is that HR called me Yesterday and i am signing the offer letter in person next Monday and they're gonna go over more details of the L&D position i applied for

Thanks ! i did check she is employed by the hospital in human resources. Just havent receive the email.

All her info looks legit, i searched her name on google and it says she works for tenet health, that is the name of the company that runs the hospital and she works for that specific hospital i applied for.

was it an offer over the phone? because ive been told i am hired but i had not receive the letter yet. Recruiter asked for SSN birthday and told me i was hired. gave me all the benefits the start date etc.(this was thursday 2 days ago)

Hello!! I have a few questions regarding a job position i was offered: So last week i was contacted by a recruiter who advised me that an offer letter will be sent to me, i contacted her Thursday because i hadn't heard from anyone or received anything to which she responded that my offer letter was ready and asked for my SSN and birthday( she also said I've being hired for the position) , she also gave me the start date, benefits and how i will go through a background check after signing the letter that would be e-mailed to me, but i haven't received any email yet . Should i be worried about this?
