  1. I got in too! I look forward to meeting you all :)
  2. Hi Ashtinp, I'm just curious about getting the schedule I want and being able to choose where I'd like to do my clinicals. Did you have a choice? Were you able to pick the schedule/clinical site you wanted or were you just thrown in wherever was available? I understand the schedule/clinical selections are offered first to the top students in order of acceptance - this is based upon what an adviser told me. I'd like to be able to choose how I flow through nursing school and as an alternate #18 I'm worried my selections will be limited, assuming I'm given a spot in the first place. Thanks for your time!
  3. Alternate #18 with a 4.0 and everything complete besides micro and lab. Right when we thought the waiting was over.... lol. Good luck to all!
  4. I haven't gotten an e-mail either! I'm hoping we receive them tomorrow - is the wait driving anyone else crazy?
  5. For those wondering, There was a total of 399 applications sent in for Spring 2017, and out of that only 90 are accepted into the regular RN program. The applications are evaluated solely on the points system with Pinellas county residents given first priority. So those of us with everything complete except micro/lab with a 4.0 GPA are standing with 66/70 points - this puts us in the same position as an applicant who has completed all pre-requisites and holds a 3.6 GPA (assuming both reside in Pinellas county). Unfortunately there is no difference in our chances of acceptance due to the point system they use, even if you have the more competitive academic record. I was also told that admissions decisions will likely be sent out BEFORE Nov. 1st - so keep your eyes open for that e-mail!
  6. I applied as well! A little over a month and we'll know, fingers crossed! :)
