I was debating if I should have waited an extra year when I applied to Crna school. Needless to say I got into both schools I applied for. Write a great cover letter, interview with confidence and you will do fine.

My gpa was Around 3.7 and my gre was something around 308 with 4.5 on writing. I had 8 months in a neuro icu at interview.

Thanks, after talking to the girlfriend/future wife I am probably going to be going to Houston. No 100% but the Doctoral degree now might be worth it. Though I won't lie, I feel like going to TWU would be a little easier for my current situation!

I got a surprise face time call though so be dressed! I did not get any clinical questions except for what type of patients I see. That being said, I noticed my interviewer was prior military, so most of my interview was about my military service and how it has prepared me for CRNA school.... I saw your interview was for tomorrow, yesterday? How did it go?

I am at 8 months ICU experience and have been accepted to two schools. I think I had an advantage with prior military training though. They look at you as a person, and determine if they want you. Never hurts to bust your but and apply early!

For some reason, I feel like I read somewhere that in California men were banned from being a L&D Nurse. This was many moons ago so I might be wrong, but thought it was very interesting.

I mildly curious. I am a current CW2 Blackhawk driver for the army who was just accepted into two CRNA schools. Are there any provisions to go to a military CRNA school for the reserves on active duty orders, or will I be required to go to a civilian school then transfer branches?

Also, is there a facebook page up for our class yet?

I have been accepted to TWU and UT-Houston... Trying to determine which school I want to go to now!

Anyone thinking about taking any classes starting in January? I hear there are a couple we can do?

For me, the big decision is do I want to do a 27 month course, and have a MSN, or do the 36 months for a DNP. I also like the TWU has a parking lot for their students for those of you that were there for the discussion on parking. The 9 month shorter program sure is tempting!

I also got accepted to Interview. I was very surprised as I currently only have 8 months of experience as a nurse. Maybe they liked my stats and previous military experience? What is everyone doing to prepare for the interview?
