Hey all! I just received my acceptance into the University of Cincinnati's online FNP for Spring of 2017! I can't believe it! I was wondering if anyone else here will be joining me? I'd love to connect before classes start.

I think my personal statement had a lot to do with my acceptance as well. I talked a lot about how my role as an NP would positively impact my community, specifically the more impoverished areas.

I also applied to Maryville and I was accepted, but I chose UC because I liked the thought of a state university better than a for-profit. My friend attends Maryville's NP program and she loves it! She would highly recommend!

Same here! I've been an RN for a long time, but I just finished by BSN in summer. I actually wrote that in my essay. I told them that I am definitely disciplined as an online learner as I've been doing it for the last year already.
