  1. How did ya do? I am glad I motivated you. Remember, it took me 4 times of failing. I had to get myself in the right frame of mind and I truly believe in Uworld. It's a wonderful tool to me.
  2. I failed 4 TIMES...Yes, 4. I did Uworld, and I went in with the attitude this time that this is IT. I will pass. Uworld was AWESOME. It was the most like Nclex, I am a believer in Uworld for sure! Passed on 5th try with Uworld!
  3. Thank you so much!!
  4. Best of Luck and keep it positive the whole time! Go through the steps, is it safe? If I can only do ONE thing and walk away for this pt. what is it? YOU GOT THIS! Thank you for the nice compliment! Look at this test as a gift that you GET to take...Not a burden! Give it all you got!!!
  5. Awwww thank you. I wish you the best! That's right Failure isn't an option! I'm so happy to have helped you.
  6. I had high anxiety...this time I put myself in a different state of mind. As if it were a gift to take it, not a dreaded chore. I don't know if it helped me, but I believe it did...along with UWorld.
  7. I passed with the max. Just try to stay calm next time. Try not to panic. If you feel yourself panic...take a break and regroup. You got this! Remember I got the max amount of questions and passed. But I failed 4 times before...I took my drama in there with me that I was living ...this time I didnt. Although I still thought I failed, I didnt. Go get it girl!!
  8. Hi there NurseLaura1978 I had ALOT of exhibits, and knowing all the lab values was so great! I still felt like I failed, I am not going to tell ya I didn't! I would've bet I did...the test was very hard to me. I had meds that I never heard of, some questions I made educated guesses, but Uworld DID help me so so much. I will also tell you I went in with NO drama this time. I had went thru a divorce and dealing with all kinds of drama before. I will tell you from what I did...I knew the basic meds, I knew my signs and symptoms of my diseases. I would ask myself is this safe?? Does it make sense? If I had to break that question down into 50 pieces to make sure my answer made sense, I did it. With all that being said...I STILL felt like I failed. My instructor said "if you feel like it was the hardest test you EVER took and felt like you knew nothing, you probably passed." This time I got it. BUT I still thought NO WAY did I pass this. Seriously take the breaks if you get asked if you need one, or just raise your hand and take one. Sleep good. And snacks and drink! I loved Uworld, I read all the rationals even if I got the question correct. I worked real hard. You will too, and you will do this!!! Have faith and use your critical thinking!
  9. You are exactly right. I went in with drama Atleast 3 of the 5 times I tested. Maybe 4 of em. Lol But know your content. Your lab values, diseases, you will never know all your meds. It's not possible. Know your insulins, your basic groups of meds. Eat well, sleep well, take a drink and snack. Go in with the mind set..." I will NEVER have to take this test again, today is the day." Best wishes. If I can do it...so can YOU!
  10. Hi there ksaunders22- This time around I did 200-300 questions daily...everyday. I did UWorld. I knew my lab values inside and out. I knew my Insulins, my basic group of meds. I do feel UWorld and knowing my lab values and doing those questions EVERY day except I did nothing the day before the test and test day. I read every rationale ...so I would know WHY that answer was wrong. I got good sleep the night before. I ate good but didn't stuff myself before I went. I took a couple snacks and a drink for my locker. I took my breaks to regroup. As I got the maximum number of questions this time...same as all the rest. I feel UWorld was the answer for me. Good Luck and NEVER give up!
  11. I totally believe in UWorld all the way! Get good sleep, know your lab values, your signs and symptoms of diseases. Do UWorld. Take a snack and drink to put in your locker. Hold your head up HIGH and walk in with the "Nclex you are going DOWN today attitude!" I did Uworld and got my pass on my 5th try!! I was not giving up- and you will get it, just keep pluggin along!
  12. Awww thank you so so much ShanHK- I failed to bring up that I had gone through a divorce and I was having ALOT of DRAMA with the ex, I believe me standing on my own two feet and letting him know he is no longer in control put me in a better state of mind this time too. I was looking for the papers in that envelope automatically that said near passing, and below passing and above....LOL but they were NOT there. I cried, screamed, hugged my son, cried, laughed...I tell you what I was out of control!!! It was disappointing the first 4 times, but the wait was HEAVENLY!!!
  13. Amen!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Hi there! First of all...Good Luck! I took the Nclex 5 times...YES, you read right. 5 TIMES! I was a good student, I did take Kaplan and I failed with the maximum amt of questions. I took Hurst, I failed on the maximum amt. of questions. I reviewed both and studied on my own and failed...FOUR TIMES I failed. I took Uworld, and I did 200-300 questions daily...EVERYDAY. I renewed it. I took a snack with me, a drink with me, I took breaks. I read the question twice and each answer I asked myself, does this make sense? Is it SAFE? I don't know WHY I didn't do this the 4 other times. I even thought I failed this time too!!! Every time I got the max amount of questions, including this one. I got the maximum this time too....I refused to get my results. I cried and cried. My letter came in yesterday, one year to the day after I graduated. I PASSED! Good luck, take your breaks to regroup and eat a snack and a drink. Make sure your answers make sense and are safe. Best Wishes!!!
  15. Hi there! I did 200-300 each and everyday on Uworld, they are SO much like the Nclex to me. Good Luck--and remember, it's normal to feel like you failed after!!!
